This page describes how the Shaked Meir Heiny website and its client galleries use information, including the Google Drive connection.

Information used by the gallery
The website stores gallery settings, client names or labels entered by the photographer, Drive folder and file IDs, filenames, dimensions, sizes and modification dates. It also stores favorites, selections and file lists for download requests. Gallery passwords are stored as hashes, not readable text.
Cookies and gallery identifiers support owner sign-in, gallery access and saved selections. The hosting provider may process connection data and service logs, such as IP addresses and request paths, for operation and security.
Access to Google data
Only the site owner connects to Google. The drive.readonly permission allows reading and downloading files accessible to that account; Google does not limit it to a single folder. The website uses folders selected by the owner to create and synchronize galleries, display images and deliver downloads. This permission does not allow the website to upload, modify or delete Drive files.
Google data is used to deliver photographs and manage galleries. It is not sold, used for targeted advertising or used to train AI models. Its use is limited to the purposes described here and follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and service providers
Original photographs remain in Google Drive. Image content passes through the website server for viewing and downloading. Smaller previews may be held in a private temporary server cache; original files and ZIP archives are not kept in another permanent image library.
The website runs on Cloudflare, with gallery metadata and selections in PostgreSQL provided through Neon. These providers and Google process information needed to operate the service, potentially outside Israel. Their services, logs and backups are also subject to their own policies and terms.
Access, retention and deletion
Gallery access depends on publication, any configured expiry and its password, if set. A link without a password grants access to anyone holding it. Share links and passwords only with intended recipients.
Settings and selections remain until the owner deletes them; gallery expiry does not automatically delete them. Deleting a gallery from this website does not delete Drive originals. Password changes or unpublishing block new requests but cannot erase files already saved to a device. Separate public sharing on Drive must be managed at its source.
Choices and contact
Contact Shaked using the contact page for questions, corrections or requests to delete gallery data and selections. Include the gallery link without its password. Requests are checked with the gallery owner before access or data is changed.
The site owner can revoke the Google connection in their Google account's app permissions. Revocation stops image retrieval until reconnection. WhatsApp and social links lead to external services with their own privacy policies.
